Building Everyday Moments That Point to Jesus

🌄 Morning

Goal: Start the day with gratitude, peace, and purpose.

  • Thankfulness Prompt: “What are we thankful for today?”

  • Truth Reminder: “God is with us no matter what.”

  • Quick Prayer: Pray for the day ahead and any specific need.

🚗 In the Car

Goal: Turn drive time into discipleship time.

  • Question Prompt: “Who can we pray for today?”

  • Truth Talk: “What’s something true about God?”

  • Worship: Play worship music or a Bible story podcast.

🍽 Mealtimes

Goal: Make the table a place of conversation and connection.

  • High/Low: Everyone shares the best and hardest part of their day.

  • God Sightings: “Where did you see God today?”

  • Blessing: “Jesus, thank you for our food and your love.”

🧹 Chores or Work

Goal: Connect purpose to even mundane tasks.

  • Reminder: “We work hard because God made us for good things.”

  • Encouragement: “You’re serving our family like Jesus.”

🌙 Bedtime

Goal: End the day with peace and grace.

  • Reflection: “Is there anything we need to ask forgiveness for?”

  • Identity Reminder: “You are loved by God—always.”

  • Prayer: Pray for rest, courage, and to grow in Jesus’ love.

📆 Weekly Anchors (Choose What Works for You)

  • Sunday Night Blessing: Speak truth over each child.

  • Midweek Check-in: “What’s been hard this week?”

  • Saturday Serve: Serve a neighbor or clean something together.

  • Family Devotion: 1x/week short Bible reading and prayer.

Tips to Keep It Going:

  • Don’t aim for perfection—aim for presence.

  • Repeat simple truths often.

  • Celebrate progress.

  • Keep it short, sweet, and flexible.

Jesus is in the small moments. When you make space for Him, transformation grows.
