A few years back, we felt a calling to join a church planting network. Why? Because of the growth rate the valley is experiencing, we discovered we need to plant 200 churches of 250 people each in 15 years (2033) to maintain current gospel saturation. One study showed that only 7% of our valley attends a gospel-believing church on Sunday, which means that 93% either don't attend church (the rise of the nones) or observe a faith that doesn't hold to the gospel tenets. This goal simply maintains current rates. It doens't grow our gospel saturation in our vally. Our calling as a church is to affectively partner with the Holy Spirit to help people discover, experience and follow Jesus and to increase gospel saturation in the treasure valley.

We want to be a church that doesn't just serve a generation but a church that serves and multiplies, serving generations to come by helping them discover Jesus as true hope, experience his hope in their everyday lives, and follow him to serve others by helping them discover Jesus as true hope.

WHY BUILD A BUILDING:

This building is about more than creating space for today. It is about reaching the 83703 and our city next year, five years from now, ten years from now, and a generation from now.

A significant gift we can give future generations is a strategic space providing opportunities for service, gathering, worship, and discipleship. This building is about prioritizing the reaching and discipling of current and future generations. It will be consecrated to the purposes of God and will be a tool that He will use to reach and equip our children, teenagers, and community at large to discover true hope in Jesus, experience transformation in the everyday stuff of their lives, and follow Jesus in their God-given purpose.

OUR GOAL

We have set a goal of 1 - 2 million raised in a capital campaign. Before we started promoting this campaign, we had a single commitment of $200k and two individuals who agreed to cover any cost over projection, allowing us to complete the project in full without cutting plans or incurring more debt. Both of these commitments have contributed to the confidence the board has in this recommendation.

If we don’t get our total goal then our plan is to build in phases based on what we can afford.
