Community

Committed in Community

You will hear us say that phrase a lot. Based on what we read in Acts 2:42-47, “church” was not what happened on Sundays but what the people of God lived out during the week IN community. We believe this is the foundation of our ministry at True Hope Collister.

Missional Communities

We desire to be a group of people who have committed to live like family, serve one another and their community like Jesus, and are on mission together in the everyday moments.

No matter your background, stage of life, or even the strength of your faith, there is a place for you at True Hope Collister. We call these groups missional communities.

Discipleship Courses

We believe these discipleship courses are essential to a believer in understanding the Gospel, how to live in relationship with God, His purpose for our life, and how to engage that purpose.  These classes hold a more significant commitment than the typical group.  They last 15-20 weeks and could require a small fee.

Affinity Groups

Affinity groups (Mens, Womens, Youth, young adults, etc.) are opportunities to create safe environments that provide people with a more straightforward step into experiencing church as God intends it to be experienced (Acts 2:42-47). Because of the nature, size, and event-based reality, affinity groups enable people to engage, meet, and develop connections, making it a more straightforward step to say yes to the intimacy of missional communities.
