Rebuilding with Action

Nehemiah 2:6-3:32

Bottom Line: A life dedicated to prayer leads us to a life of action. The work that God has for us is designed to be accomplished within deep community, not as individuals. What does it look like to rebuild with action?

1. To serve God presents risk. (v. 2).

- Is God worth the risk?

2. God is always present and available to face that risk with us. (v. 4,8)

3. It is in our prayers that God gives us His vision for our lives. (v. 12)

- Am I willing to trust God's vision for my life over my vision for my life? 4. God’s vision is meant to be lived out in deep community. (3:1-32). - What is my piece of the wall?

As we live a life committed to prayer and confession, God will plant a vision for our life in our hearts. This vision or purpose is not meant to be done as an individual. God calls us to stand next to others and live out our purpose in deep and authentic community. Community is essential to our faith, living out our purpose, navigating our crazy and chaotic world, and displaying the true hope of Jesus Christ.
